Unfindable
Honestly, I needed to label which cup I was using for my watercolors for the simple fact that I wouldn’t try to drink out of it.
It’s my Birthday! I’ve been waiting for a while to post this one because I wanted to finish the story that I’ve been telling about the kiddos, but I figured that for my birthday we could take a break.
This comic was one that took me months to complete, but it was a blast. This is my first venture into color for the strip, (watercolor and ink.) It was so much work. Every frame had tons of photo reference and independent study. Everything from doing studies on the waterfall, the airplane, and the costumes to printing pages of font types for the text on the airplane and toying around with it. Each part was so much fun. I think (and I hope that you agree,) that it really turned out. I learned so much and I can’t wait till I can carve out another chuck of time and do another watercolor comic.
